Bolivia was by far one of the coolest countries I have ever visited. The people were extremely welcoming, the country wasn’t overfilled by tourists and the landscapes were out of this world. I spent almost 3 weeks in this destination and I would return in a heartbeat.
As a US citizen, you used to need a visa and a little bit of preparation from your end. However, in 2020 that was lifted and you can openly travel there without the hassle of an embassy visit. Note that La Paz altitude will likely mess with your head. However, in my guides, I describe everything you can do from your end to prepare.
